Jules Thin Crust is a fast-casual restaurant that aims to offer an alternative pizza concept to its community by providing thin-crust pizzas that are both healthy and affordable. Jules is a family-owned restaurant business that was started in 2004 by John and Jan Ordway, a husband-and-wife duo that opened their first Jules restaurant in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. John and Jan Ordway formed a partnership with high school friend Jeff Clapp and opened the subsequent Jules locations (both on East and West Coast) starting 2010.

East Coast Menu

· Meat & Veggie Selections - Thin crust pizzas are available in large, medium, and gluten-free medium options. Meat varieties include a variety of hormone-free meats like chicken, BBQ pulled pork, bacon, brisket, and pepperoni. Veggie selections include a large variety of fresh vegetable and fruits from tomatoes and roasted zucchini to apples and mandarin oranges.

The restaurant is popular for serving gluten-free pies made with a special gluten-free crust. Even their sauces and toppings are certified to be gluten free and are suitable for consumption by those who are gluten intolerant.

The restaurant uses buckwheat flour in its Pennsylvania locations and brown rice flour in its California locations to make gluten-free pies. The buckwheat and brown rice flours are combined with tapioca starch, potato starch, navy pea flour, xanthan gum, egg yolk, salt, sugar, and extra virgin olive oil to make the pie crust.

Jules Food Truck

Jules Thin Crust Pizza Truck offers hourly food truck service for special events. The truck can offer up to 8 varieties of guest choice pizzas along with a la carte drinks and salads that need to be purchased separately. The food truck rental includes dishware, napkins, utensils, and condiments along with its fare.

Catering

Jules Catering offers two catering packages; Family Style, suitable for groups to share, and Personal Pizzas that consists of individually packed pizzas served with a drink and a cookie. This eatery also accepts take-out orders.
