The Minnetonka Resort is a seasonal hotel in Copper Harbor, Missouri that offers comfortable, family-friendly accommodations, modern amenities and array of activities. Centrally located off the Route 41 and surrounded by the natural beauty of the Keweenaw, the historic Resort, which was built in 1938, features simple rooms and cozy cottages with private bathrooms and standard conveniences.

Accommodations are spread between the main lodge, a simple motel and cozy cottages with housekeeping facilities. Main lodge rooms have large windows with beautiful views of Lake Superior, and motel rooms are spacious and bright with private bathrooms and dressing rooms. Cottages feature separate living rooms with pull-out sofa beds, fully equipped kitchens and private decks with breathtaking views and the main guest lodge features a rustic lounge with a large fireplace.

The Minnetonka Resort is home to the Spirit of the North Wellness Center, which offers a range of massage and wellness treatments, yoga, lectures, and workshops, as well as event and function facilities for a variety of events. Picnic areas around the resort have comfy outdoor seating and barbecue grills and seating, and the resort is situated just a few miles from Fort Wilkins Historic State Park and the Brockway Mountain Wildlife Sanctuary.

The Minnetonka Resort features a variety of accommodations to suits all needs from standard rooms with simple décor to cozy log cabin cottages with fully equipped kitchens and private decks. Standard guest rooms are located in the Astor House Motel and feature two queen-size beds with crisp linens, private bathrooms with shower/bath combinations, fresh towels, and complimentary toiletries, and modern amenities such as coffee makers with coffee and tea and mini-fridges.

Cottages are slightly more luxurious and feature two double, twins, or queen-size beds in crisp linens, private bathrooms with shower/bath combinations, fresh towels and complimentary toiletries, and separate living areas with comfortable sofas and seating. Fully equipped kitchens have all the necessary appliances and utensils for hassle-free holiday living, and private decks have breathtaking views.

The Astor Museum takes visitors on a journey back in time through a collection of rare and unique artifacts from the Keweenaw, such as mining tools from the mid-1800s copper boom. Other significant collections include over 400 antique dolls from around the world, shipwreck materials found in Lake Superior and railroad and civil war memorabilia. The Astor House Antique Shop is located within the Museum and sells a variety of country antiques, mining memorabilia, old coins, bottle and antique books.

Located on the Keweenaw Peninsula, the Minnetonka Resort is not only packed with interesting things to see and do but surrounded by an array of attractions for the whole family to enjoy. Fun things to do in and around the resort include mountain biking, hiking, ATV riding, swimming fishing, kayaking, mineral and rock collection, bird-watching, enjoying a massage or yoga class or mini golf at Into the Woods.
