The Crooked Branch serves up a variety of items which include fresh salads, pizzas, and bar snacks, as well as specialty cocktails and craft beer, at its large and lavish bar situated on the lower level of the hotel. This is a great spot to listen to some tunes and enjoy a beverage and snack after a long day of touring San Antonio. As for a great steakhouse, 18 Oaks Steakhouse is highly recommended. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, 18 Oaks offers traditional breakfast items like pancakes, waffles and omelets, and delicious dishes like gulf crab sliders, flat iron steak, short ribs marinated in a ranch dressing, and mustard rubbed pork tenderloin for lunch and dinner. Replenish Spa Bistro and High Velocity are also great options for lunch, and high velocity offers dinner as well.
Replenish Spa offers organic light and simple plates all made with local ingredients and fresh fruit smoothies, as well as glasses of wine in a very laid back atmosphere. High Velocity is an upscale sports bar offering a swanky bar with large television screens overhead which are always on and playing that day's sports game. The bar offers up dozens of draft beers, both local and domestic flavors as well as an extensive cocktail list with drinks titled Tea Time and the French Open, which is made with grey goose vodka, St. Germain, ginger beer, and lime juice. The restaurant also serves up great pub food like artichoke and crab dip served with tortilla chips, a Baja fish taco plate, and barbeque wings. The JW Marriot San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa has so many different dining options onsite, guests will have a hard time going hungry. Photo:
