At Gurney’s Montauk Resort, the rooms, suites and cottages all feature views of the beautiful ocean, including some with balconies or terraces. In each room, guests will find modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi, flat-screen televisions, refrigerators and coffee makers. Each bed is made up with premium, luxurious bedding for utmost comfort.

Guests can feel safe and secure by keeping important belongings locked away in the in-room safe. If guests wish to relax in their room, they can order movies to watch which are still in theaters or listen to their own music selections with the iPod radios included in each room.

There are many different classifications of rooms and suites including some with queen sized beds, some with king beds and some with more than one bedroom. There are one, two and three bedroom cottages available all with kitchens, fireplaces and terraces. The beachfront cottages book very quickly so it is best to book them far in advance to ensure their availability.

The rooms with the best views are in the 300’s and 400’s with room 301 and 401 boasting the biggest terrace and the best unobstructed view of the ocean.

At Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa there are five amazing food outlets for guests to indulge in while staying at the resort, which are overseen by LDV Hospitality. Scarpetta Beach is a beachfront restaurant serving up delicious Italian cuisine, much like its sister restaurant in the Meatpacking District.

The wine list is extensive and delightful and the mid-century atmosphere leaves guests feeling relaxed and cozy. Inside, there are 95 seats plus a 20 seat private dining area. Through French Doors, there is a terrace which has amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean and will seat an additional 100 guests—perfect for a banquet or reception.


Tillie’s serves guests with breakfast and lunch daily. On Sundays, guests can feast on a sumptuous brunch. The seasonal comfort foods and favorite American classics will ensure guests leave with a full belly. The casual elegance will allow guests to enjoy their meals in a laid back, relaxing environment.

The Beach Club Bar & Grill is located along the beautiful beach area at Gurney’s Montauk Resort. They offer an expansive selection of light appetizers including salads and sandwiches. The Seawater Spa is a full-service, tranquil spa experience which is open to both resort guests as well as the general public. They are credited as being the only Thalasso Center in the continental U.S and they offer Thalasso treatments which use the healing and restorative power of the sea.

There are endless other treatment options to choose from as well, including many types of massages, body treatments and sauna treatments. The most popular treatments include the Head to Toe Ocean Radiance Treatment, the Montauk Stone Massage and the Ultimate Detox Therapy. If guests would prefer a wrap, there are several to choose from including an Ultimate Herbal Body Wrap, which is a three step process and lasts almost an hour long. There is even an extensive menu of different types of facials to select from.

Manicures and pedicures are also standard services within the Spa. Guests can even opt to have hair treatments performed such as the Keragreen Keratin Treatment which will leave hair feeling soft, silky and manageable no matter the weather. There are three packages couples can choose from for their special day, which include things such as chair set up, the white arch way for the couple to be married beneath, speakers and microphones, the officiant and so much more. If it is an event or conference that one should be planning, Gurney’s Montauk Resort has a space perfect for your needs, with over 7000 square feet of venue space. There are meeting spaces to accommodate up to 300 guests, complete with audio visual equipment and as an added bonus, gorgeous views of the ocean.

Groups will receive discounted rates on rooms for the duration of their stay, making this a perfect venue for large conferences or company meetings. LDV Hospitality will oversee the food and beverage needs of the event, including coffee breaks with pastries and light snacks. Although there is no on-site golf course at Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa, there are plenty of golfing options nearby for the golf enthusiast. Montauk Downs State Park is located very close by and is an 18-hole course open to the public. This is ideal if guests are looking for a casual game of golf, even for the beginner. A little further is South Fork Country Club, a private 9-hole course for members and their guests. Sag Harbor Golf Club is the next closest, at about 16 miles away, and is open to the public. It features 9-holes.
