Whiteface Lodge is a spectacular place to dine. With a focus on locally-sourced produce from farms in the area and Native American fish and game, the team of chefs at the Whiteface cook up American cuisine at its finest.

The KANU dining room is open for three meals a day and has an open kitchen to allow guests to watch their food being prepared. It features North American fish and game, has a sommelier to perfectly pair wines with each meal and has a children’s menu.

The KANU lounge presents casual dining in comfort. While seated in plush armchairs, listening to live music, guests can order wood-fired pizza, artisan sandwiches and salads. There is a children’s menu at the KANU lounge as well.

The Old Fashion Ice Cream Parlor serves Adirondack Creamery ice cream. Patrons can order cones, sundaes (with brownies!), milkshakes and sodas, or purchase a chocolate bar.

The staple spa offering is a massage, and Whiteface’s spa has many. Traditional Swedish rubdowns, deep tissue massages, massages to help guests recover from sports injuries or strains. In-suite and couples massages for both men and women are also available. The Great Salt Lake Bath and Massage Ritual combines a Swedish massage with a bath in Epsom salts and sea salts to lather and rejuvenate the body. Four-handed massages with two therapists are available. Guests with little time at their disposal will appreciate the express massage, which lasts only 25 minutes. The Thai massage is perfect for the shy person; the guest remains fully clothed and is treated with acupressure and stretching. Scalp massages and reflexology are also available.

There are facials for every type of skin at the Whiteface Lodge’s spa. The Great Outdoors facial treats skin that has been damaged by sunlight, wind and cold. The Acne Repair facial diminishes visible skin imperfections and normalizes sebum secretions to prevent future breakouts. The Vitamin C Wrinkle Repair facial stimulates collagen production, reduces fine lines and promotes elasticity. The Dynamic Restoration treatment removes layers of dead skin and repairs age-related skin conditions. The Hydrofacial uses dermabrasion, hydration and infuses the skin with anti-oxidants and peptides. Also available at the spa are chemical peels, eye lifts, neck and décolletage firming as well as makeup application.

The spa offers a wide range of body treatments. The Lodge Mud Wrap exfoliates and nourishes the skin, and is combined with a scalp massage and a full-body application of organic shea butter mixed with green tea oil. The Adirondack Exfoliation uses mineral crystals and organic essential oils to rejuvenate the skin and finishes with a hydrating application of shea butter. The Apple Cider Masque and Massage rehydrates and promotes youthful-looking skin, using mineral clay from Canadian seas mixed with iced cider and apple vinegar. A scalp and full body massage using apple extracts completes the treatment. The Hiker’s Retreat foot treatment starts with a soak in Epsom salts and follows up with exfoliation, a leg and foot masque and reflexology.
