Eventually, additions were made to the hotel, including the laundry facility in 1890 that is currently known as Building 148. The result was the U.S. Hotel Thayer, which opened its doors for operation in 1929. Alongside it, the original West Point Hotel continued to operate until it was demolished in 1932. Rooms & Suites
Guests of the historic Thayer Hotel have different options for accommodation. Whether staying in one of the unique rooms or suites, there is a distinct Old World Charm blended perfectly with modern day touches. For all accommodations, the oversized bathrooms feature hairdryers and heat lamps for added convenience.
