Annual Concerts

The orchestra organizes an annual Subscription Concert series, consisting of five concerts that are performed from October till the end of May. This classical music series plays music composed by Strauss, Sibelius, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Wagner, and many other popular composers. Along with professional musicians, the orchestra often features guest artists, classical guitarists, and violinists who hold international recognition.

The annual concerts start with the “Labor Day ‘Pops’ Concert,” which is a free-of-charge Labor Day concert organized by the Roswell Symphony Orchestra to express their gratitude for all the support provided by the community. Children get to learn about the symphony through the instrument “petting” sessions offered at the end of the concert, which is held at Spring River Park and Zoo. The Labor Day concert is followed by “Autumnal Abundance,” “Christmas Classics,” “Magnificent Mozart,” and “Sax and the Orchestra.” The concerts are also held at the Pearson Auditorium of New Mexico Military Institute and online ticket prices start from $30 per person.
