The rooms at The Inn at Dresden are an escape themselves, focusing on luxury and calm. A home away from home where guests can find a getaway perfect to their specific tastes and hobbies. The Gallery room is a tropical paradise with two twin beds and decoration to emulate a beach side escape. Shell accents complete the decor for the Hemingway inspired rooms.

Golf lovers should choose the Clubhouse rooms. These contain a Queen bed and large sitting area. Rooms are decorated with golf decor, clubs and pictures of stunning courses. There is even a whirlpool in the bathroom to work out sore muscles after a day on the greens.

The Hideaway harkens back to a simpler time, using historically inspired decorations. This room contains a shower and soaking claw-footed tub, and is perfect for a simple romantic weekend away. The Wilds is another standard room perfect for a romantic getaway. These are decorated with a Safari flair and includes a whirlpool for two, and an enclosed patio. This room is also pet friendly.

There are two Deluxe room types, the Zane Grey and the Lodge. The Zane Grey is named for the famed western author, and includes not only the western decor, but a gas fireplace, a king-sized sleigh bed and a library atmosphere. There is a day bed and the room can sleep up to four guests. The Lodge was once a sauna and still has the pine walls. This room contains a queen bed, rocking chairs and a daybed to room up to three guests. Both rooms access the main deck with views of the valley.

For guests who are looking for additional luxury, the Inn also offers the Premium rooms. The city Lights room contains modern decor to appeal to the city slickers. This room contains a fireplace and a whirlpool for two. The private deck is enviable with a panoramic view of the valley.

The Dresden Suite is another premium room and was once the personal library when the Inn was still a residence. This room has a four-poster bed, a gas fireplace, and a heart-shaped whirlpool making this the perfect honeymoon escape. This room also has access to a private deck.

The Founders was once the main bedroom. This room plays upon the connection with the Longaberger Company and uses the slogan within the decor and wallpaper. This room contains a two person hot tub, a private deck and a pull out couch.

The Sern Wheeler is the largest of the rooms available and offers two queen beds. This room contains an elegant chandelier and is decorated based on the steamboats of yore. There is a captains desk, a spacious sitting area, and a pull out sofa. The two person hot tub and private deck are sure to please.

One of the most enjoyable parts of staying at the Inn at Dresden is the delightful four course Italian meal offered with reservations. Each course comes with a choice of select items such as the Bruschetta, Spinach or Artichoke Dip, followed by a fresh Romaine salad. The main course is a choice between the signature Beef Morcon, Crusted Flounder, or Chicken Marsala. Dessert is not to be missed with the mouth watering Triple Chocolate Cake.

Golf

There is no shortage of golf clubs in the surrounding area. With five to select from including the Longaberger, which is named as Ohio's number one course, among other accolades from Golf Magazine and Golf Digest. Players of any skill level can take part as this location offers a series of practice programs, as well as stunning courses for the more experienced player.

Other nearby courses include the River Greens, the Hickory Flats Greens, Eagle Sticks Golf Club, and the Vista Golf Course. The staff at the Inn is available to assist guests finding these courses and other enjoyable events in the area.

The wedding package at the Inn at Dresden includes an option to reserve the entire inn, which includes all ten rooms, with a maximum requirement of two nights. The rental of the double level pavilion can be added on, a space which accommodates up to 350 guests making it he perfect charming wedding location. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast with a wine and cheese evening reception.

The Inn is located close to three city hubs, making it an ideal location for corporate meetings. The picturesque countryside makes the getaways an enjoyable retreat for team building and focus. The Inn offers a variety of spaces which can be used with overnight stays or without. The Mural Room is available as a meeting room or dining room and can accommodate up to sixteen people. Complementary wifi and AV services are also available.

A tribute to the Longaberger name, this basket is famous within the area and has branded Dresden as the "Basket Village U.S.A." Visitors can also stroll along the Muskingum Recreation Trail, a paved walking path connecting Muskingum and Jefferson along the River's edge.
