Foggy Mountain Lodge offers a variety of accommodation in three different lodges, namely the Cedar Lodge, the Pine Lodge and the Chestnut Lodge.

The Cedar Lodge is a beautiful log cabin constructed of cedar wood and features six guest rooms with vaulted wood ceilings and a central communal area with wood-burning fireplace, comfy sofas and chairs and a fully equipped kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The basement of the lodge is home to a games room with pool table, television area, and card table, all warmed by apellet stove. The guest rooms in the Cedar Lodge are friendly and welcoming with king, queen or double beds, private bathrooms with showers/baths, and four rooms have access to an outdoor porch.

The Pine Lodge offers six traditional guest rooms that have tongue-and-groove interior walls and opens onto a covered porch. These rooms feature king, queen or double beds, private bathrooms with showers/baths and are a short walk to the restaurant.

The Chestnut Lodge is home to five individually decorated guest suites with king, queen or double beds, private bathrooms with showers/baths, and spacious sitting areas with televisions. Suite One is extra luxurious with four bedrooms, a large living and dining area with a gas fireplace, two bathrooms, and a guest toilet. Open year round, the Foggy Mountain Restaurant is a cozy and inviting restaurant where guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast every morning as part of their stay, as well as and extensive lunch and dinner menu of freshly prepared salads, sandwiches, and entrées such as steaks, fresh fish, chicken dishes, and pasta. The restaurant offers a special Sunday Brunch, which is not to be missed.

Amenities at the Foggy Mountain Lodge include a complimentary home cooked breakfast of hot and cold dishes, fresh fruit juice and coffee, a daily housekeeping service with fresh linens and towels provided every day. The Lodge has several places that can be used for events, including the beautiful gardens with a gazebo, pond and fountain for ceremonies, and a large pavilion with a stone fireplace for receptions or other gatherings.

The Laurel Highlands and surrounding area offer a plethora of attractions and recreational activities to enjoy, all within a 45-minute drive from Foggy Mountain Lodge.

Sample the wines of the region at Glades Pike Winery, which is located on the historic Glades Pike (Route 31) just a few miles from Seven Springs & Hidden Valley resorts Head into the foothills of Chestnut Ridge to Stone Villa Wine Cellars for winetasting and exploring the beautiful landscapes.

Visit the impressive Fort Ligonier, a full-scale reproduction of the original fort which was built between 1758 and 1766. The fort presents a range of historical pageantry and activities, including reenactments of battles, folk arts and crafts, encampments, and archeological digs. The Compass Inn Museum is a beautiful example of a beautifully restored 1799 stagecoach stop and offers guided tours and a gift shop. Don’t miss a chance to see Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural masterpiece, Falling Waters, in Mill Run.

Outdoor enthusiasts and sports lovers can enjoy a game of golf at the championship 18-hole Donegal Highlands Golf Course, white water rafting down the Youghiogheny River, and hiking and biking on the Youghiogheny River Trail.

Traditional festivals in the area include the annual Laurel Hill Bluegrass Festival, which is held in the 4,000-acre Laurel Hill State Park in Somerset County and showcases musicians, artisans, arts and craftsmen, and the Flax Scutching Festival, held every September to highlight the art of making linen from the flax plant.
