The Cotton Gin Village offers comfortable lodgings in the form of seven cozy log cabins built in the late 19th century in Kentucky or Tennessee and a Big House, which can accommodate up to 12 guests. Cabins sleep two guests and vary in configuration with rustic decor, stone wood burning fireplaces and fully equipped kitchens.

Bedrooms are fitted with ornate queen-sized beds with hand-stitched quilts, soft linens and throw pillows, while fully equipped kitchens have all the appliances needed forcomfortable holiday living, including fridges, microwaves, coffee makers and staples such as coffee and tea. Private bathrooms feature walk-in showers, tiled whirlpool bathtubs, plush towels and Gilchrist & Soamesbath products, while modern amenities range from televisions with cable channels DVD players and radio/CD stereos to central climate control. Every cabin enjoys a covered porch and double rocker chair, which make perfect spots for relaxing in the evenings with a drink.

Cabins at the Cotton Gin Village include the Guadalupe Cabin - a Kentucky-style cabin built in 1890 that features a lovely loft bedroom with queen-size bed and separate living room with a stone wood-burning fireplace; the 1879 Tennessee-style Pecos Cabin, which is handicapped accessible; and the Rio Grande - an 1888-built cabin from Kentucky. The Red River North and South cabins are 1854 pre-Civil War duplex cabins built in a traditional dogtrot design, while the Big House can accommodate up to 12 guests with three large bedrooms, private bathrooms, and comfortable living spaces.

Guests are treated to a hearty Hill Country breakfast delivered to their rooms every morning as part of their stay featuring fresh squeezed juices, home baked pastries, bread and rolls, fresh fruit and other delights.
