The available rooms range in size, from the roomy Double Queen to the Two Bedroom Suite, but all share the same great amenities. The Double Queen includes 364 square feet of space, with accommodations for up to four guests. The Grand King rooms are great for a romantic getaway as they accommodate two guests.

With 546 square feet, these rooms are luxurious and spacious but guests must be at least 18 years of age to book. The Studio suites are great for families and each has a unique room amenity of either a whirlpool or a fireplace and some even have both. Guests can also reserve the One or Two Bedroom Suites with 850 square feet and room for up to four or six guests.

Guests can visit the Great Room for the complimentary hot breakfast, named in the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame as Lancaster's Best Complementary Breakfast. Every morning between 6:30 and 10:30, guests can fill up on baked oatmeal, bacon, sausage, potatoes and even enjoy omelets and eggs made to order. Waffles, fruit, bagels and more are also available, along with coffee, juice and other select beverages.

The Plain and Fancy restaurant is a great evening stop where guests can enjoy family-style meals. This restaurant has been in business for 51 years and serves platter dining. This restaurant has been featured on the Travel Channel's Man v. Food, as well as a featured video on Eater.com. The restaurant uses local ingredients, and the staff is on a first-name basis with the local Amish farmers who provide their wide selection of vegetables. The restaurant is an excellent choice for families and groups. Whether a rehearsal dinner, an anniversary gathering or a reunion of friends, there is room for everyone at the Plain & Fancy.

The Great Room is a wonderful place to lounge and enjoy the window views of the Amish countryside. This large seating area offers an internet kiosk, along with a cookie and coffee station for an afternoon pick-me-up. This area also contains wifi, and guests can make new friends or bring the family to the select movie nights taking place in this area.

Guests can also enjoy access to the Fitness room, open 24 hours, which includes treadmills and elliptical machines along with other workout equipment. The indoor pool features a game room called the Amish View Arcade Room and is also available 24 hours a day. There is also an available laundry facility and a whirlpool open from 6 am to 11 pm.

Perhaps the most interesting event is the Amish Experience Theater. This unique attraction provides an educational view into the unique culture of the Amish people. Through special effects visitors can learn about the life of the Amish through a dramatic show involving characters and storytelling. Located in a barn, the production uses multiple projections to create a surrounding experience, and the audience is immersed in the story. Shows begin at the top of the hour and last approximately forty minutes.

Guests can get the full scope of the area by taking part in the “Heritage Tour” called the Amish Visit in Person Tour. This allows visitors to interact with the local Amish community up close and in person. Each tour allows fourteen guests to come along. The Amish Homestead tour offers a guided tour of a nine room Amish home and schoolroom. This unique tour includes information on the customs, clothing, and way of life of the Amish people, including how they live and function without modern conveniences such as electricity.

For a provincial and romantic getaway, visitors can take part in Aaron & Jessica's Buggy Rides. This business is run by Mennonites, a community similar to the Amish. The tour is a relaxing 25 minutes and carries visitors over the picturesque landscape allowing them a view of the schools, farms and community businesses. Couples can reserve a private buggy or have the choice of a larger wagon. During the tour, visitors can enjoy a cookie or pretzel along the way.
