Built in 1916, the Paradise Inn at Mount Rainier provides traditional mountain lodge-style accommodation in the heart of Mount Rainier National Park in Washington State. The family-friendly lodge features 121 comfortable guest rooms, an onsite restaurant and casual café, and a gift shop.

The historic Inn is situated in the Mount Rainier National Park and boasts spectacular views of Mount Rainier and the Nisqually Glacier. Located in the southwest corner of the park, The Paradise Inn is aptly named for its lovely location, and there are few locations within the entire national park system that are this spectacular. Nestled on the slopes of the glacier-covered volcano with stunning views of wildflower meadows, the Paradise Inn is 19 miles inside the southwest Nisqually entrance of the park. The Paradise Inn features 121 well-appointed guest rooms that are comfortably furnished with simple mountain retreat-style furnishings, hand sinks and shared bathrooms with private showers. Designed and built in 1916 in the traditional style of the period with the building’s large timber frame exposed on the interior, the interiors of the Paradise Inn are made from the timber of Alaska cedars that had been fire-killed and seasoned to a light gray or silver hue. The Inn’s Lodge Rooms are the original historic rooms at the Inn and feature one double or two twin beds with their own hand sinks. Separate male and female bathrooms are located down the hall from the rooms and have four private showers, plush bathrobes, and comfy slippers.

Situated behind the main lodge to accommodate for guests wanting private en-suite bathrooms, Annex Rooms were built in 1920 and feature queen, double, or twin beds and private bathrooms with showers, sinks, and toilets. Two-Room Annex Units have two bedrooms with a double and two twin beds and a private bathroom with showers, plush bathrobes, and comfy slippers. Annex Suites with Sitting Rooms have one bedroom with queen-size beds, private bathrooms with showers, plush bathrobes, and comfy slippers, and separate sitting rooms with a pullout sleeper futon for additional guests.

Mount Rainier National Park’s Paradise Inn has a family-friendly restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner menu of American favorites and signature dishes, such as the Bourbon Buffalo Meatloaf, against a backdrop of picturesque views. Guests can enjoy a hearty Sunday Brunch every week, which consists of a carvery station with a variety of roasted and grilled meats, fresh salmon, fresh seasonal fruits, and delectable desserts. All the cuisine at the Paradise Inn is prepared with only the finest and freshest locally sourced ingredients from local farms.
