Los Poblanos Historic Inn provides the perfect backdrop for any wedding, with its acres and acres of land, rich New Mexico architecture and beautiful gardens and even the Sandia Mountains. Couples can hold their intimate wedding ceremonies as well as receptions at Los Poblanos without worry. The Grand Ballroom is ideal for receptions for up to 120 guests, or couples who wish to host a small, intimate gathering such as a cocktail reception, could opt for the Fireplace Terrace.
All of the rooms may be booked for use for one wedding, and this will allow for lodging of up to 65 people. It is important to note that Los Poblanos holds a beer and wine license only, therefore other alcohol spirits are not allowed. The on-site restaurant and chef will work with each couple to create a delectable menu for the reception, which will feature local, organic and sustainable foods.
Meetings, conferences, and other events are always welcome at the Inn. With the Inn's close proximity to downtown Albuquerque, business travelers will have everything they need at their doorstep, including a peaceful setting at the Inn. Those planning retreats will find the Inn has a package which is perfect for any group. The Corporate Wellness Retreat Package offers breakfast, light snacks, lunch, a three course dinner and all day drinks to each participant. Fireside meetings in the La Quinta Library will provide the perfect setting for conversation and listening in a relaxed, focused environment.
While there is not an on-site golf course at Los Poblanos Historic Inn, guests will find several golf courses in and around the area. Arroyo Del Oso is a public course, owned by the city, and features both an 18 hole course and an additional 9 holes called The Dam 9, for a grand total of 27 holes of golf. This course is perfect for intermediate to advanced players with three water obstacles, sand traps and rolling hills. The 18 hole course is a par 72 for men and 73 for women, while The Dam 9 is a par 36. Guests can rent clubs as well as golf carts at the course and there is also a Pro shop on-site for additional golf merchandise and equipment. This course was voted amongst the nation's top 50 municipal courses by Golf Digest Magazine. Photo:
