Dinners are available at the Lodge certain days of the week and dependent upon the season. From mid-June to mid-October dinners are available Friday to Sunday, and in the winter months on Friday and Saturday evenings. Dinners are served in the Lakeview Dining room with floor to ceiling windows offering spectacular views of Moosehead Lake and surrounding mountains. Guests can opt to sit on the wrap-around deck just outside the dining room, during the warmer season. Dinner reservations are a must and guests can rest assured knowing their table is their own since dining is for registered guests only. Meals offered include tastes of local seafood such as stuffed trout, lobster mac and cheese and Maine crab cakes.
During July and August, Safari Camp Dinners are an option on Sunday evenings. These dinners are offered al fresco and serve up outstanding selections of lobster or steak, seafood chowder, campfire biscuits, salads and potatoes. All of this is wrapped up with S’mores over the fire. This is a unique experience which guests won’t soon forget for an additional $49 per person.
If guests are looking for a quick snack between meals, there is a complimentary pantry which is stocked daily with items such as fresh cookies, fruits, pastries and teas.
Chloe’s Pub is the perfect place to sit back, enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine and enjoy good conversation. It is located right on-site for extra convenience. Just outside the pub is the boulder fire pit for guests to gather and enjoy their wine or other beverage by starlight. There is an extensive wine list to choose from as well as an elaborate cocktail list. Guests can treat themselves to the house signature drink, the Mooseopolitan Martini.
