Guestrooms provide a luxurious escape, but those who want more living and dining space will want to upgrade to the Junior Suites. Either way, guests will get their own balcony or terrace.

PGA & Legends Suites will treat guests to an elegant living and sitting room while having the choice to enjoy three balconies that give access to views of the Fazio driving range.

The Presidential Suite has a huge living space and private master bedrooms. There are two balconies, each giving a spectacular view of the Champion’s 18th hole in one big panorama.

Media Suites are dedicated to guests who are looking for a lot of high-tech fun and relaxation. There is a huge recreational room with a sectional sofa and two 55-inch LCD HD TVs in the living room and one in the bedroom. As the name suggests, the Spa Suites were designed to give guests the feel of being pampered in their own room. Apart from the calming interior design, upholstered head and footboards, and a king-size bed, guests will love the private spa area where they can have their in-room spa services.

The Club Cottages are all in one corner of the resort as little villas with all the comforts and privacy of home, whilst giving easy access to the resort’s spa, room service, and housekeeping amenities. It even comes with a kitchen and patio.

PGA National Resort Golf Courses

The PGA National Resort and Spa has five golf courses which have been upgraded to look brand new with a combination of new bunkers, turf, and expanded tee and green complexes. The modernized layout is one of the best places for amateur and pro golfers to either up their game with the Golf Academy or simply play.

The Champion is still PGA Tour’s toughest golf course in all of Florida. It’s Home of the Bear Trap as well as the Honda Classic.

The Palmer was designed after the great Arnold Palmer and is known as one of the more forgiving courses on the list with a layout that encourages a risk/reward game.

Formerly known as the Haig Course, the Fazio Course is the one that received the most renovations since its creation in 1980. It’s now been modernized and filled with more architecture as a reinvention of its former self.

The Squire is meant to be a place to test one’s accuracy since the layouts demand very precise approaches. It’s the shortest course on the list, but the one that demands the most exactness.

Finally, The Estate is meant for players of all skill levels, thanks to the mix of holes it has with varying challenges. It’s also one of the shorter courses in the list.

PGA National Resort Restaurant and Bars

The Ironwood Steak and Seafood is the resort’s signature restaurant that received the Wine Spectator 2012 Award of Excellence.

The iBAR is going to be the best place to spend the happy hour, especially if guests enjoy cocktails, beer, and house wines with the occasional events and live entertainment. For something a bit more classic and maybe even magical, the iClub Piano Bar is the place for jazz and sophistication.

Breakfast buffets are available at the Palm Terrace, where golfers will often go before they hit the courses. Meanwhile, those who frequent the spa can sample the choices at the Waters of the World Café and those who love going to the pool will like the Wave Bar and Grill. With food spots all over the resort, the list of food destinations seems endless.

Worthy of special mention is the 3,000 sq. ft. terrace, the iDECK. This is where most golfers will gather together and interact through indoor and outdoor dining while being treated to a breath of fresh air and a breathtaking view of the resort’s lakes and views. This is also a great place for hosting luncheons, special events, and in some cases, even weddings.
