Universal Studios offers movie-themed amusement from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Tickets start at $95. Wanting a more historical experience? Try out the Queen Mary in Long Beach. With prices starting at $27 for adults and $17 for children, this trip back in time is well worth it. The ship hosts unique exhibits and puts on several events throughout the year.
Within a 1-2 hour drive of the Pala Mesa resort, you can find just about any activity you desire. But if it is relaxation you want, the resort has the peaceful serenity to alleviate your stress and help you get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The San Diego International Airport is about 60 miles south of Pala Mesa. Rental cars are available at the airport, and you can take one of two scenic routes to get to the resort: the I-15 Scenic Corridor and the I-5 Coastal Highway. Either route will provide stunning views - dramatic vistas orbold, rocky seascapes. Other area airports are also close enough to make an easy connection.
