Evergreen Lodge was established in 1921 and has been thriving ever since. Of course, there have been updates and additions to the lodge and the property, but the quality service and beauty of the surrounding area has not changed. They are located on the most direct route to Yosemite from San Francisco. One of the best California vacation ideas for families, Evergreen Lodge can be found one mile to the entrance of Hetch Hetchy as well as Yosemite’s western border.

The Stanislaus National Forest surrounds the Lodge and offers the outdoors lover an array of exciting outdoor adventures. The property features a variety of cabin sizes as well as a camping area to accommodate travelers of all types from individuals, to couples only to families. The amenities found on the 20 acre property are perfect for those who wish to come, stay and enjoy without the worry of traveling into town or to grocery stores for forgotten items. There are play areas for the children to enjoy, as well as a seasonal salt water pool and year round hot tub, newly added in 2012.
