SEA LIFE Kansas City offers a range of educational and conservation programs for learners of all ages. Every year, the Aquarium selects a group of Young Environmentalists to learn about conservation of marine animals and the environment in which they live. The Young Environmentalists program features a range of activities both at the aquarium and around the area, ranging from river, lake and stream clean-ups and feeding of the aquarium’s rays, sharks and sea turtles to spreading the word about the all-important World Oceans Day.
Visitors can enjoy various educational talks and feeding demonstrations throughout the day, including an Interactive Rockpool Experience, an Octopus Talk, and Turtle Show. Other discussions include Ocean Explorer Talk, Ray Talk, and Doodle Reef Talk. Photo: SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium
