The International Women’s Air & Space Museum is located at the Burke Lakefront Airport in Cleveland and is open daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and admission is free. Tours and Boxed Lunch Tours of the Museum are available for all group sizes and need to be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.
IWASM also offers location talks during which visitors can enjoy presentations by guest speakers on a variety of topics. The Museum also provides a range of educational programs for children of all ages, including Aviation Adventures and Space Travels. Other museum programs include guided tours, lectures, career development seminars and an annual family day.
The Museum is home to the Fay Gillis Wells Research Center, which serves as a classroom to educate youths in a series of educational programs that focus on the careers and the history of women in air and space travel. The Gift Shop can be found at the Center and is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
